Respite came at long last as, out of the corner of one eye, he spied Josie entering the room, pushing a tea wagon before her daintily frocked and aproned body.

Moments later, his aunt said, "Thank you, Josie!" as the latter apparently had poured her tea.

After a brief moment, his aunt said, "Josie, I wish you to take steps to prevent an outburst of the kind to which we were just treated from ever happening again. Can you imagine my darling Gerald demanding that I allow him to return to his horrid trousers? Isn't he the most ungrateful wretch alive after all the trouble and expense I have gone to to find the prettiest ensembles for him?"

"Oh, Madame, how dreadful," Josie replied. "I assure you that it shall never happen again."

"Very well, Josie," his aunt replied. "I shall allow you to deal with the problem in any manner which you think is fitting! That will be all for now,"

"Thank you, Madame," Josie said.

"And one more thing, Josie " his

aunt said.
